En 1941 se traslada a la MGM, donde alcanza el apogeo de su creatividad dando vida a la ardilla Screwy Squirrel, el lobo Wolf, los osos George y Junior o al flemático perro Droopy y su eterno enemigo Spike. También hay que destacar a una despampanante cantante-bailarina pelirroja que aparece en sus cortos más sexys, influencia directa en el personaje Jessica Rabbit de la película de Zemeckis Quién engañó a Roger Rabbit. Después Avery trabaja para la Paramount y la Universal, aquí de nuevo con Walter Lantz, para el que dirige algún episodio del pingüino Chilly Willy y uno muy bueno titulado Sh-h-h-h-h-h: en sus realizaciones también abundan los cortos como éste, en los que no aparecen personajes fijos sino que se centran en determinadas temáticas.

Muy bueno todo esto
Estupenda entrada. Muy documentada. En la propias palabras de Tex Avery, lo que pretendió hacer es distanciarse con el sinsentido del humor de la obra de Disney, a la que pretendían hacer sombra desde la Warner, pero con desigual éxito.

Los datos que das son más que suficientes para que cualquiera se haga una idea de qué va esto de los dibujos animados y de quiénes fueron algunos de los principales culpables en perpetrar semejante desaguisado que convirtió a personajes dibujados en presuntos "seres vivos".
La animación ha sido mi gran pasión durante toda mi vida, cualquier homenaje a este medio me parece formidable y merecido, y tu blog es absolutamente una delicia.
